Osaka-based performance artist Ken Hamazaki's tea ceremony performance, juxtaposing zen tradition and modern technology, also touched on the subject of presenting Japan to a foreign audience. "I am not creating art and intentionally thinking about how it will influence people outside of Japan."
Hamazaki echoed Chack's sentiment for international exposure and personal growth when reflecting on his 12th attendance to Black Rock City's Burning Man. "When I go there, it provides reassurance that what I am doing is not wrong."
